About us

Hi, nice to meet you. We wish to introduce ourselves, the two friends driving the essence of this brand. We are Daniela and Nina, inseparable friends, sharing both striking similarities and delightful differences. 

Our upbringings unfolded in two distinct countries, each immersed in its own unique culture. I (Daniela) am hailing from Peru. During my studies abroad I met the love of my life and soon to be my husband. I decided to leave Peru and move to Belgium to start my life with him. While my (Nina's) roots extend to Belgium. After my studies, I wanted to immerse myself more in one of my passions: fashion. I decided to study one more year: fashion management in Antwerp.

We crossed paths during our this final year of studies in Antwerp. We had in instant connection and since then, our connections has deepend to the point we refer to each other as sisters now.  

After seeing each other grow after our studies, exploring the world together and discovering what a good team we are, we decided to create a business together. The idea started to get shape during our trip to Peru. We created DŌS Antwerp out of a shared vision. Our collective vision is to establish a brand that harmoniously fuses the essence of Belgium with the rich heritage of Peru.

We believe that design does not always have to be complex and fancy. We want to show that simplicity of design and functionality is a new elegance. With DŌS, we focus on designs that are functional in two ways. The design as a timeless piece and the design as a high-quality product using natural fibers.
